Thursday 2nd Feb Constatine woods NOT Magic unfortunately our magic man can’t make it so we are going to re book it. Sorry We are now having a walk and play in the woods.

Thursday 9th We are climbing if you are intending to come please let us now so we can make sure we have enough instructors. It’s at Granite Planet 10.30-12, £5.50 per person

Eden is cancelled

Hi Eden on 19th is cancelled due to essential maintenance being carried out on the ice rink …. so we are meeting at Mawnan Village hall for games as we planned for last week…. sorry we are re arranging so much at the moment but it has been out of our control.

Skating @ Eden

Hi If you are intending to go to Eden PLEASE PLEASE can you book asap as I need to book in numbers and have only got 11 booked at the moment.
£5 skating and enterance or £3.80 if not,2 oclock skate so arrive at rink at 1.45, get to Eden anytime after 10.

Thurs 12th January – We’re going to start preparing for Chinese New Year by starting on the first stage of making a chinese dragon puppet,all you need to bring is an old egg box!
Usual time of 1-4pm, as always anyone is welcome to join us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR …. I hope everyone has enjoyed the break and had a peaceful and relaxing time.

Thursday 12th January 10.00am Games At Mawnan Smith village hall Bring along a game to share, Pool and table tennis available too. We are also going to discuss activities for end of term and the summer term and of course catch up . £1 per family for the hall

Thursday 19th January 10.00am onwards Eden project ….. skating at 2pm arrive when you are ready. Arrive at ice rink 1.45 to get skates to be ready to skate at 2pm, skating is approx 40mins …. this is a public skate, so we need to give an idea of numbers and have to confirm numbers by 15th so please let me know if you intend to skate and how many so we can ensure enough places. I have provisionally booked 40 places £5 per person skating £3.80 if not skating. Contact Sandra at Sandrabusybee if you intend to come for numbers PLEASE, I won’t hold you to it, I know things happen and it’s not always possible to plan ahead reliably. I can also try and book penguins to help younger ones skate, let me know if you want one please.

Thursday 26th January 10.00am onwards Bull pen, Dairyland This is a soft play area suitable for all children, unfortunately they can’t/won’t do us have a group rate, so pay admission on arrival. £3.95 per child Adults free

Thursday 2nd February 10.00am Magic at Mawnan Smith village hall We are hoping to get a local magician in(TBC) and if not bring a magic trick to share. £1 per family for the hall. We will confirm the magician is coming closer to the date, this may well add to costs.

Thursday 9th February 10.00am for 10.30 -12 climb Granite Planet climbing centre, Penryrn Come and challenge yourself. Anyone can climb, please let me know ( at Sandrabusybee ) if you intend to climb as we may need more instructors. £5.50 per person climbing; space to sit, chat/watch and or have a drink.

Thursday 1st March 10.00am Argyll Reservoir, nr Penryn Walk around the reservoir, play in park and barbecue if you wish to. Pay at car park ….. not sure how much but will try and check.

Thursday 8th March 11-12am Ships and Castles Public swim 11-12 Session is half price, cheaper if you have a Breeze card.

Unfortunately quite a few of these activities are expensive, but we have decided it is no fun getting wet and cold but will organise cheaper events again for the summer term.

We have also continued to use the Mawnan Smith Hall as it is cheap, parking is good and we have an off road outside space, maybe it’s worth using a little more fuel with the hall being cheaper.

Please feel free to join us at any of the above events, no need to book except Eden and Granite Planet. If you want to know more, I will try to help Sandrabusybee, please be patient though as my internet is unreliable. If you have any ideas/suggestions please let me know.

Thursday 17th November 10.45am Ships and Castles Public swim 11-12 I believe this session is ½ price

Thursday 24th November 10.00am Reptiles at Mawnan Smith village hall (hall tbc) someome is coming to talk about reptiles followed by seeing/handling a few including snakes, bearded dragon, spiders etc … dare you come … starting at about 10.30 so if you want to chat and catch up first please arrive from 10. £1 per family for the hall and £3.50 per family for talk etc.

October 20th- We will be celebrating halloween early this week with pumpkin carving and hopefully use the pulp to make delicious pumpkin pie too!
Just bring along a pumpkin and a willing carver! Dressing up is optional!!

November 3rd- Weather permitting we will be meeting at Cardinham Woods at 11am,we’re hoping to go on the treasure trail ‘Stumped’,whilst also collecting some old wood,so on our return we can fire up the barbi and cook whatever food you wish to bring,we could have two on the go,so vegetarian food can be cooked separately if need be.Hopefully the sun will shine!!

November 10th-We will be crafting some Mexican Stars using a traditional weaving method,also there will be the chance to bake some Mexican food.Meeting at usual time of 1 o’clock at the playhouse.Any more info needed please feel free to ring me, Raegs 01208264879
