A group of us are going to Plants for a Future on Wednesday 18th November at 11:00am Its at Penpol, approx five miles from Lostwithiel. website – which is a fascinating site of edible, medicinal and useful plants. If was established in 1989 when a 28 acre piece of land was purchased to demonstrate the many uses of plants, with a strong emphasis on perennial species.

The site has become overgrown in recent years and we have been given a patch of land `the Robert Hart Memorial Garden’ to plant up, there will be some plants ready waiting for us. Phil (educational visit coordinator :-)) is a musician and teacher will provide folders and worksheets, bring any musical instruments we will have sing-along and campfire, weather permitting (if it rains we will use the Polytunnels – Phone before setting out if the weather is bad).

What to wear – wellies or sensible shoes

Contact – Katie 01726 810109 or 07903 564 760
