Where: Lescudjack Centre, Penzance
When: 22 March 2pm

1- Introduce the Rock cycle  and the idea of plate tectonics
2 – Then go on to look at rocks, sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous
3- Ending with how to recognise rocks in thin section

We have a polarising microscope that we will bring as well as thin sections of rocks, rock samples and many books.

This will be followed by a look at some fossils and minerals.
