This Thursday we will be walking in Constantine woods. We will meet @ 1030am by the Old School House, now a private home, at Ponjerevah. It’s a small hamlet just below Constantine on the Falmouth side of the village. The woods are a beautiful place to walk and provide lots of shelter even if the weather isn’t great. There is a stream running through it and so wellies may be handy for having a splash. Dogs are also alright to come as long as they are used to lots of children!!

Directions

From Falmouth/Penryn follow signs to Constantine and Gweek. Turn off to the leftt just before the village of Lamanva,.Signposted Constantine, it’s also sign posted Port Navas I think! Head along this road until you see the sign for Trengilly Arms on the left and bearing to the right around a large corner you will see the sign for Ponjerevah. Park in the layby outside the Old School House. Walk along the road to the gate and wait there by the stream. If you come in from the other direction you may come down through Constantine, passing the Tolmen Centre on your left, and then out of the village towards Falmouth. The old School will be on your left.
