Wed 27th April-We’ll be having a science day experimenting with lots of household items to understand acids and alkalis, using red cabbage indicators, if you fancy bring along any items that you think will be good to test! Following the veg theme, we’ll also try our hand at potato printing! Cooking cheese scones also, yum!

Wed 4th May-Plants for a Future @ St.Veep, contact Katie for directions and details

Mon 9th May-Visit to Truro Records Office (situated in Old County Hall building),the staff are very kindly going to give us a tour of the building and explain how it all works ,which will lead to a second visit on 23rd May when any documents of your chosen house, town or person that you are going to research will be already out for us to read. For more details please phone Raegan and check out the website http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=1729 .Session will run from 10-12 then we thought picnic in the park and maybe an arvo visit to the museum(its free!)

Wed 15th June- A day at Perranporth beach, we are planning to melt and cast pewter, safely using either a campfire or if not permitted a camping stove. The idea is to use shells to make mould in damp sand then pour to set and for all of us to leave the beach with a pendant to remind us of the lovely, fun day we will have!!Cost is approximately £3.00 each if you wish to make one. Bring along any food you wish to cook on bbq too and of course your swimmers!!
